Mental Health Therapist

Rachael Kuhn, MSW, ASW

Rachael is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use and recovery, chronic pain and illness, emotional dysregulation, and challenging life transitions.

Rachael integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic and nervous-system-informed interventions. She has a particular interest in the connection between the mind and body and helps clients develop greater awareness of their emotions, physical responses, and nervous system so they can feel more grounded and connected to themselves.

She has experience working in residential and intensive outpatient settings with individuals experiencing complex mental health, trauma, and substance use concerns. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), where she trained from an integrative social work perspective.

Rachael believes therapy is a space to slow down, become curious about the patterns that have helped you survive, and begin deciding which ones still serve you. Her goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients can better understand themselves, develop practical tools, and move toward a life that feels more connected, intentional, and meaningful.
